Yi Hu won the 1st prize for Best Poster at the 17th International Conference on Dynamical Processes in Excited States of Solids (DPC '10), which was held from June 20-25, 2010 at Argonne National Laboratory in Argonne, IL.
Yi presented a poster about his research on "A single molecule approach for the determination of molecular electric fields in proteins". All posters were judged by a special committee formed by members of the DPC International Advisory Committee based on their scientific content, clarity of the presentation, and artistic layout.
Yi's poster was ranked first among those of the three finalists who shared the $1,000 Best Poster prize award.
